NO!!!!

I can't host this week. Bummer.... Next week is looking grim, too; parents will be in town, plus it's Christmas and stuff. I'm just going to have to force them to play Die Macher with me.

If anyone could play a wargame during the day on Monday or Tuesday of next week, let me know. I might be off those days. I would do anything from BattleLore, to War of the Ring, to Hammer of the Scots, to Combat Commander, to....

Many new games will be coming over the next couple of weeks...

Anyone thinking of getting Cosmic Encounter? I've never tried it, but I'm intrigued by it's long history.

How about Android? Anyone?

I'm definitively picking up Starcraft expansion from the FFG lineup.

Cosmic is a good game, but I don't really care for the Avalon Hill version. It's really best in the Mayfair edition. We used to play a LOT. I will not be free during the day next week. I only get Christmas Day and New Year's off this year.

I am thinking about picking up Android. I need to do a little shopping anyway so I might pick something for myself out.

Yes, I am very intrigued by Android, but would like to try before I buy. This makes it sound pretty darn interesting. I have to admit that Battlestar Galactica has REALLY taught me how to enjoy ameritrash games (yes, that sounds like a euro-snob speaking...sorry). It basically taught me that there is more than just cold calculations, and luckless games. AT games are simply all about the fun, and the engrossing themes.

I'm really just trying to raise my threshold again for buying games... It lowered significantly again after BGG Con.
