So last Tuesday was our last game night at Coffee Culture, for the League of Extraordinary Gamers(LEGS).
We just don't bring out enough people to warrant Mark's staying open just for us. Although he offered us Thursday nights since he is open late anyway on Thursdays, but Thursdays are not good for the most consistent attendees.
So we are looking for possible locations....any suggestions?

What happened to Cafe Express?
how about Papa Fajita's on Bay Area? They always seem to have plenty of tables open on weeknights when I've been there. That's the place that used to Ninfa's.
It would be nice if we could find a place that is open past 10, though.
might also be good to send an email to the group to see if anyone has a suggestion.
Coffee/tea houses work well in general. Sometimes book stores can work too. And of course restaurants can work too.
I agree that an email should go out to the group. In fact it really should have gone out weeks ago. If a place isn't found soon you will find out some of the members will have lost interest. Unfortunately that is what I am getting from a few emails. :-(
I really enjoy this group and would hate for that to happen!
I think a location right off 45 between Bay Area and Fuddruckers that stayed open past 10 pm might draw a few more people! Just my 2 cents!
Oh wow...I was wondering about that. I'm sure we were paying more for electricity than what they were making from a our drinks. It was a good quiet place to game in.
I remember that the Houston Go Club used to sometimes meet in Barnes & Noble at I-45 and Bay Area. They set up some long tables just inside near the opening to the Starbuck's. I don't know if Barnes & Noble would allow us to do that or not. Ooh but I think they would make us clean up before 10 on a week night.
Ooh what about BJ's. They are usually open late and have room?

Would anyone be interested in adding a Sun. afternoon meetup to the LEGS calendar once a month? I really enjoy the Sun. meetups at Fuddruckers and now that I've started my own collection I would like to have more gaming time.
Another Sunday added to the calendar should be fine. Not sure I would be able to make it every time, but that is not the end of the world...
