Mike P. is also out this week, but he's interested. Grant, a guy Tom 'referred' is also out this week, but seems interested.
Marty: If you mean, the game ends as it's building up and getting interesting, I'm going to have to agree. I still like it a lot though (because it blends euro and wargame elements nicely.....like Perikles).
OK, sheesh, Rob's on my case about posting to this blog, so I'll post -- I'm in for sure. Even spent some time messing with my profile, so hopefully it'll be easier for me to login now, plus now you have a space dog picture to look at. Can't beat that!
I'll look into my 6 player games. We could do 6-player Starcraft... but with rules explanation, it'll probably be over after 10pm (which is traditionally the cutoff for everyone but Lewis and JD).
Of course, we can split into two groups of 3 too. I have no problem with that.
Andy: Ok, NOW I'll let you come and mess up my original master plan to play a 5 player game of Shogun or Tribune.
For those interested, I had my brother take that picture of me this past Thanksgiving holding a small turkey in my kitchen. I was inspired by the way raw meat resembles DOOM monsters. My wife Paty hates the picture though.

I'm looking forward to my initial visit and meeting everyone I don't yet know.
Excellent Tom. For those of you who don't know him, he doesn't look like a naked guy holding a chicken with no drumsticks. He frequents the Meetups.
BTW, Lewis can't make it.
i'm in. I'll play Shogun, but I'm not a fan of it. To me that game is just
getting interesting when it ends.
Cool, so we have two (and me) for now.

I'm in and I might possibly have a friend tagging-along; if that is ok.
SWEEEET. The more the merrier. That would mean we are five, so I'll brush up on Tribune too.
For those on the fence, signup. Andy is avail too, so we could be 6.

Ah! so that supposed to be a raw chicken. I just thought is was a really scary alien head/mask thing.
I am out this week...getting over a sore throat.

for the record...tongue-in-cheek...
I'm going to have to cancel out after all. sorry.
Argh!
You are probably going to be out of town too for Midnight Comics on Saturday....

Well it is a kind of disturbing picture...since it looks like you might be naked, and the chicken is not very appealing either.
