Hehehe..... me!

See my posts in there.

BTW, good gaming last night. Got a chance to play Glory to Rome (hadn't played in months), and got killed by a noob. He picked one strategy and just dedicated EVERYTHING to that one strategy, and it actually worked....whereas I usually go for something more balanced and flexible.

Then we played Spectrangle, a strange older abstract. It was ok. I won, but I didn't feel like I had to put too much effort into it.

BTW, I did get to play Blackbeard and Through the Ages this past weekend! TtA of course, was the better game....and boy, what a game. Everthing is SO abstracted, but the theme is THERE. It is great. I wish I had the time to play it more often. it's amazing.

Blackbeard is tons of piratey fun, but you really need to limit the game to 3 players. It doesn't scale well AT ALL. Essentially, with less players (we played with 5), you get to do tons more for the same amount of game time (less than 3 hrs).

Did you see the look on your face in that picture of you playing Spectrangle?

And before now I had assumed Barry was a nice guy. LOL

I'm glad you FINALLY got to play Blackbeard! I finally got to play Brass. Great Game! I also got to maintain my 100% winning average in the 'shopping game' or rather Power Grid!

Mother's Day was great....I got 6 new games that I can't wait to play.

Any interest in gaming this weekend or on Tues?

I can probably do next Tuesday if we want to have a Cafe Express meeting.

I can likely do Cafe Express on Tuesday as well.

Peace

Does'nt that sealing process leave a thick edge where it melts the plastic?

Peace

Well yes, but nothing that a regular gillotine can't take care of.

Going back to the subject of Through the Ages last weekend, the tank was Lance, and the other dudes was me and Grant.
