Wow, you are making Pitch Car sound terrible. Don't discourage gamers from trying it after my shameless splurge. Pitch car is awesome. Probably one of the best dexterity games out there.

What's different though? I read a bit about quality being better in the original.
The quality is definitely better on the Carabande sets. I know that Pitch Car just came out with a new expansion; I hope they were able to fix the problems that I've seen with some of the jumps and things.
Don't get me wrong, Pitch Car is still not bad, but Carabande has been way better in my experience. There was a problem with Carabande, though; it's that it was so friggin heavy I never wanted to take it with me to game anywhere.

I had a copy of the original Carabande for a long time but got rid of it a year ago after never playing it more than twice.
It's a good game and lots of fun, though. Pitchcar isn't quite as good as the original, though, unfortunately.
